The project

Initiated by Mrs Constance GENEVEE, president and founder of the GLOBAL ACTIONS association and Mr Razak OBA, president of the APODD association, FIDA (Femmes Inspirantes pour la Décennie d’Action) is a melting pot for exchanges and sharing of experiences between women actors of development.

Participants

As part of the commemoration of the 2021 edition of 08 March, International Women’s Rights Day, this programme brought together 17 women in reference to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals from several African, European and American countries such as Benin, Senegal, Kenya, Chad, France, Switzerland, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada during a webinar.

The topic

Introduced by Mrs Véronique TOGNIFODE, Minister of Social Affairs and Microfinance of Benin, the theme of the event was :
“Strengthening and federating energies for the implementation of the sustainable development objectives in a world in health crisis”

Objectives

The objective of the meeting was to share good practices and lessons learned from the health crisis and to reflect on how to intelligently transform this crisis into an opportunity to reinvigorate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
